Lids for Crisa Jars

Hi all:

I searched this before posting, but did not find anything. I have the 8 oz. Crisa jars and clear plastic lids/caps. However, I cannot get the lids to fit, even after poking the recommended pin-size hole in them. I tried to contact GL, but have not received a response. Has anyone had any success getting these lids to fit? Thanks for any response!

I had the same problem. I quit using the lids cause my customers could not get them off to smell the candle. I don't think those lids were actually made to fit those jars so don't buy more thinking they will fit better.

The metal lids worked just fine until Libbey bought out the Crisa company in Mexico. Suddenly the wall thickness changed by a fraction and made the Mexican made metal lids unuseable. I can get the plastic lids on and have found that if you twist them..they will come off sorta. I plan to drop Crisa and go to a Salsa jar with the regular screw top lid but I really hate losing the Crisa. The only other way to do it is to cut a round piece of Glad sealable wrap but its a hassle and doesn't look so hot.
