katcandlemaker Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 So freaking awesome. I was making caramelized pralines from CS the other day and had that pot sitting to cool down. I then needed to make BC's mac apple and poured my oil in tumbler for measurement and proceeded to dump it in my already ready carm pralines. I was so upset. I only made a small batch of the other as it was just two candles needed, but still. With the added mistake, I could not use it for candles so made tarts from it. AWESOMEIt smells like the richest caramel apple rolled in nuts you will ever get. During the Fall, caramel apple is a big hit for me..but nothing I have purchased FO wise compares to this. Its devine. Thought I would share my screwup made fabulous with you. Quote
ForHisGlory Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 That is an awesome mistake!!!! So, is it a 50/50 mix? Quote
8-GRAN-ONES Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 this one sounds delish...i'll have to try it.. Quote
katcandlemaker Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 on the mix ratio, I don't know yet as I was making two pots. I know one I used .08 ounces in the caramelized pralines and then mac apple was doing two pounds, so one ounce. I would think a 50/50 would be a good start. Quote
