oldetownecandleco Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Hello all...I am looking for a buttercream FO that smells like the Yankee one. Does anyone know where I can get a comparable FO? I read in an another post that Day-Star makes a good buttercream FO how does it compare to that of Yankee's Buttercream? Thanks!! Quote
scentsme Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I honestly don't know how it compares to Yankee's, but I can tell you it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote

kimmeroo Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Hi Old Towne!! I use those same jars(melting pot) i was wondering,if you don't mind me asking, what size wicks do you use(mostly)in those jars? I had been using a CD 20....in soy, I was wondering where to go in Par. blend(j223)? TIA.:smiley2: Quote
oldetownecandleco Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 Hi Kimmeroo, I use CD 14 for the 9oz and CD 18 for the 16oz in the 4627 comfort blend. I am not sure if you are aware but the Jar Store is going to discontinue that jar style. If you were aware, if you don't mind me asking, have you decided what jar you are going to change to? www.oldetownecandleco.com Quote
kimmeroo Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I don't mind:cheesy2: ..I have been going nut's since I recently found that out! I think I am going with a tumbler..Taylored Concepts has one with a lid I like...also candles and supplies has a 10oz. frosted tumbler I like but I noticed it is a closeout..sooo...I am still looking, but I really think I am leaning towards a tumbler. Awww...and all of your lovely photo's I so admired on your site! Now you have to do new one's! UGH! I bet that took alot of time! I see you are from MD...I was raised in MD..I graduated in Clinton,MD from a christian school.I miss the area..although it has changed alot since I graduated in 83. I wish you all the luck(so to speak)lol! Kimmeroo:smiley2: Quote
