Jorie
What is the best way that you have found to put a message on/in a candle? I am wanting to create a hurricane candle to give to my friends as a wedding present and I wanted to put quotes about love on it but I'm not sure of the best way to go about doing this. Jorie
I thought about doing that but I wonder what other techniques people have done just to get different ideas.
flutterbye
You can embed the photo into a hurricane shell and then fill the shell with container wax or maybe try using waterslide decal paper or rub on quotes, from the scrapbooking section at craft stores, to put on the outside of a hurricane shell. They have a lot of love quote ones. Or if you good at making something cute with scrapbooking stuff, put together a cute layout, you can then punch holes on each side and tie it around the hurricane candles shell with pretty ribbon or depending on what size shell you make, you can add stuff with on the outside with push pins, just cut them short...HTH!
