southern.scents
So, I have been (re) organizing my workspace. In my organization I decided the fragrance oils need a new spot. Most suppliers tell you to store your FO in a cool dark place. Does it honestly do any good for you?(I never keep it long enough to try it.) If it does help wouldn't it be true that if you kept it in a fridge it would do even better? I recently bought a mini fridge just becuase it was on sale and I am thinking that may be where my FOs go as long as it doesn't have an adverse effect. Luci
I've never stored any except in a cool dark place, so I really don't have any personal experience to tell you. I would imagine that heat and sunlight have an adverse affect on the fo and might possibly cause a breakdown in the fragrance.Hopefully, someone who has screwed up will let us know.
