Billie
I have tried to CPOP pink sugar twice now with vanilla stabilizer. The first batch I threw out, there was so much oil on the top. The second batch which looked great in the mold with beautiful swirls before I put it in the oven, did the same thing. I scooped this into a pot and put in the oven and saved it. ( so it cooks just fine) Just wondering if I missed directions somewhere about not being able to CPOP with vanilla stabilizer. Does anyone know?ThanksBillie
Billie
OK It does say for CP so I guess that is my answer. :embarasseBillie
CareBear
I have had iffy results with the BCN vanilla stabilizer. I have done 3 batches with it, I think. The first separated in the mold - oil floating on top, and the 2nd and 3rd ended up gritty.Good to know I could have rebatched the first. But gor, I never want to do that again ever! Billie
Thanks for the info. I have two good looking batches of HP and rebatch out of about 12. LOL! I have a lot to learn but that is what makes life fun and interesting.
