chrisasst
I came across this jar at family dollar. Paid $1.00 for it. Is that a fair price for this kind of jar? What do you call this jar? Any one use this jar?thanks for any info
debratant
Yay...I'm able to post now! I also saw that jar at the dollar store and picked up 2 of them. Ihave not used it yet...but I intend to use it for myself to see how it works. I thought $1.00 was a good price...and it seemssturdy enough and not too thin. BCN has a similiar jar...they call it a square apothecary. It's not exactly the same though...but close.Deb
cindym
1 dollar no shipping sounds good to me.
Georgia
It's a pretty good price! Is it the 14 oz or 18 oz? I liked the 14 OK but never could get the 18 to burn right. I used to get them at Walmart.
Groovy Chic
That's a Victorian Jar. I used it when Walmart sold them a few years ago. $1.00 per jar is a good price for this jar. You can get a great throw with this jar.

fredron
The jar is made in Indonesia, and comes in 3 sizes. 6oz, 12 oz and 24 oz. I use them in all 3 sizes, but buy them in quantity. I get the 12 oz jar for $.72ea, and with the freight about $.77.I buy 25 cases at a time, and can mix the 3 sizes. Freight for the 25 cases costs $70.00, or $2.80/case. So your $1.00/jar isn't bad.Fredron

Sara
I have not used that particular jar, but that's not a bad price, especially if you just want to test it out and see if it is something you'd like to carry. I'd stock up on a few more, though.
chrisasst
well, test burn #1= gb444 wax, htp126 wick, 7% fo....4hoursthe melt pool did not reach sides and the wick started to drown a little. Next size htp wick is htp 1212. That just sounds scary..but I guess I will try it if my other test burns don't work out..
