Tealight wax

Recommended Posts

Which wax is your favorite to use for tealights? From all my testing I have done and tealight making, I have learned that I not only want a wax that gives a great throw for a little guy but now would prefer to use a wax that is not too soft. I have tried some waxes that had great textures but they did not wick right. I have luck with both the 70/30 and Taylored 50/50 with wicking and throw but the 70/30 is too soft and now it appears the 50/50 is going to be too soft as well. I would prefer a blend -- not straight soy or straight paraffin. Any suggestions? Maybe I can give my own blend a try. But, it seems like when I do this I get wicking issues. :undecided
