I had a co-worker, a guy, request a soap for the face. ideas of ingredients? of of course i was thinking of - oatmeal, and I have a pinch of lime butter, an was thinking some lemongrass EO, but any other thoughts on some good facially things?Thanks! CareBear Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 for my old lady face I adore QuietGirl's recipe posted in the recipe section with tomato juice in place of water.it's amazingly mild and all my friends agreefor oily skin you still need mild so I'd try the same recipe but with water and a 5% SF. oatmeal is drying so my greasy ex loves it in soap but I can't handle it. Kaylors Kreations Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 I use my normal formulation tweaked just a bit, to use less coconut oil, cuts down on the cocoate flavor.. ICK. I use a clay in with it, kinda like my shaving soap, but not as strong. Because i pour it into a round mold like my shaving, i marble it with some purple or pink, what ever im in the mood for that day.
