ah-soy
I'm going to test a leather scent for a southwestern candle collection...personally I'm not crazy about the idea of a leather scented candle, but just wondering if anyone else makes this scent and IF or how it sells for you? candlelady
Leather is one of my biggest sellers all year! I just love the scent!I live in the country with lots of horse people and they tend to be my biggest buyers along with a High-end Western store in the next town. That's just about all they buy from me.HTHCarrie

Burnt Mill
I have heard a number of people do sell lots of things with the leather FOI live in the city so it isn't very popular herebut I can see the appeal of that scent in more "country" areas
Candybee
Well I live in Virginia country and customers here literally say "yuck!" to leather. I even tried mixing it but still got that turned up nose and "yuck!" comment. I think it's kind of nice. Only had one customer ever that bought some leather scented melts. Leather just doesn't fly here.
southernsoy
I live in a small town and it is a big hit. In fact I just got an order from someone yesterday, they want 7 candles.

Barbara AL
I love Lonestar's Leather but the only thing that I did was the Car air Freshners for people that love the leather smell in cars.Barbara
ForHisGlory
I love Lonestar's Leather but the only thing that I did was the Car air Freshners for people that love the leather smell in cars.BarbaraI could see that working. Don't know why people would want to burn a leather candle in their house. lol
awickedscent
I probably go through about 75 to 100 lbs of leather fragrance a year. Its my biggest seller. I have a whole line, candles, massage candle, cologne, reed diffusers, scented biker bears, soap, lotion. They all do well for me.
jgcurtis1961
I also live in a rural area and people love the leather candles. I sell leather in candles, and in car air fresheners and they are always a big hit. I'm not a fan of leather scented candles, but I keep making them because people around here love them. ah-soy
Thanks everyone...it does seem like a love or hate type of scent. If my testing goes well, I may pour up a few and check out the response. I live in a large city, but we have lots of farm land and horse properties near my area so you never know! TraciS
I sell tons of Lonestar's Leather. I do make leather inandles, melts and refresher oil. It gives me a headache but it sells!

LynnS
I will have to get this scent now.I did a show today and someone said if you had that scent I would buy all you had.I told him this was just talked about and I was thinking about getting it. Gave him my card and told him to call and I will get the best I can find. I told him the idea about car fresheners. I think he will want those too.LynnS
Blest2BAmerican
Though people were amazed that I could make a candle smell like leather they didn't want to buy one to burn. But now that car fresheners are mentioned, I'm going to have to do that one.
VerticallyEnhanced
I took 20 leather candles to my show this past weekend. 2-28oz, 12 18oz and 6 11oz. Sold out of every single one. So yup...it sells for me.
