Every gingerbread I've tried either smells like maple, corn/popcorn (weird, huh?), or has a "doughy" smell to it and I've tried at least 8 to 10 different ones. Also, every caramel I have smelled has either a maple smell or is a straight vanilla. Any thoughts or suggestions on these 2 scents would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)P.S. I have found a gingersnap cookie that I like, but it's mainly spices without much baked smell.
