Alajane
Has anyone tried foil labels from Labels by the Sheet? I have a jar I think will look great with foil labels, but just wondered if these are good quality and how well they accept the print. I e-mailed the company and found they're only for laser printers, so I know that much.Any opinions?Jane
ScentsandMore
I just ordered some and like them. Just make sure when you print on them that you change your setting for the type of paper or they will smear. I changed my setting to heavy. Maybe only print one label at first to make sure they print good.
Alajane
Thanks--I don't think I would have thought about changing that setting and would have thought the labels themselves were the problem with smearing. These boards are just invaluable--I love getting all your suggestions! adillenal
I bought some and they do really well in a HP3600 laser printer. They are gorgeous when printed. Made my little bottle of body wash look extravagent.
Alajane
I'm debating between silver and gold--will probably go with silver because sometimes gold colors are really fake and cheap looking, so I guess silver may be safer. Plus I use pewter lids for my jelly jars. But I'm always drawn to gold.........:rolleyes2
