moniek
Good morning to all! Does anyone use j223 for making tarts or melts?
fredron
J-223 is a container wax. I doubt if you will get them out of the mold, but even if you do, they'll be soft. You need to get a pillar/votive type wax in my opinion.Fredron
hotmama2700
I don't use j223 but I use 25% j50 with pillar wax 6228. Increases scent throw and they melt better.Steph
flutterbye
J223 would just be too much of a sticky mess getting them out of the mold and then getting them out of the melter when done. You can try to mix it with a pillar wax though. I use 25% container wax 75% pillar and its works perfectly.
Karen M
Yep too soft, but mix it with a pillar or votive wax, 3 to 1.Karen M
Sherl
I use it as a percentage in mine. Add just enough of another wax to get them out of the molds.
