Alajane
I've seen many recommendations for the CandleMakers' Store's hot orange danish and wonder if it is similar to KY's orange chiffon cake?I need to order labels from CMS and am out of KY's orange chiffon, so I wondered if it would be a safe substitute. I know--I need to order a sample to test, but you all know how much shipping is now and that's all I need from KY, so I'd love opinions. Thanks in advance,Jane
Alajane
Replying to myself!!Wow--I just looked on CMS website and saw the price of the A-grade hot orange danish--$24!!! Makes it look like it would be worth paying shipping for KYs, but do you use less of this since it's "A-grade"?
Barbara AL
With Grade A you use almost half as much!! Barbara AL
Alajane
I thought I remembered reading that--have you tried that fragrance and KY's to compare?
Barbara AL
I haven't tried the Hot Orange Danish but I have tried alot of Steve's Grade ABarbara
Sylvie
It has been quite a few years since I smelled them, but I liked Steve's HOD better than Ky's Orange Chiffon Cake. I think CMS does really well with bakery-food scents, and I was always happy with the quality and strength of their oils.
