lindanelson
I bought the silicone mold at WalMart. It has 3 leaves and 3 pumpkins.I wanted to make a bar of soap in it to see what it looks like. kinda neat. The larger bar (on the right) weighs 3 oz, the smaller bar (on the left) weighs 2 oz. DONNAMAC
That is very pretty, I love the color. Is it CP?
lindanelson
Thank you. The soap is low sweat cold process like melt and pour.I usually add coconut oil, and stearic acid to my soap base. This one I didn't. I was experimenting with the mold.I'll be making more soap with this.

kandlekrazy
Love that mold and the color is perfect cranberry, did you scent it cranberry as well?
lindanelson
Yes it's scented Cranberry. I use food coloring in my soaps right now. 6 drops of red and 1 drop of blue.
kandlekrazy
I bet it smells wonderful! I use food coloring too, but I've been afraid to make dark colors for fear it would stain the skin. Have you used any of the soap with the dark colors? I also have the pop colors but haven't tried them yet.
lindanelson
I used this last night...the lather stays white. I haven't any trouble so far. I haven't used more than 10 drops in anything. I some black food coloring that I've kinda scared to use. Too much of that would probably stain.
