Candlebuddy
Vanilla Frosting - www.candlescience.comFrosted Cup Cake - www.thecandlesource.comTo my nose, these are more of a sweeter, sugar-type vanilla rather than a buttercream.
sisterkaren
We use Tennessee's Birthday Cake for Buttercream, It is more sweet instead of the almost sour smell of buttercream
Sister Kya
Frosted Cup Cake - www.thecandlesource.comI get a strong and distinct Strawberry/Cherry note in this one. Sweet, yes. Straight buttercream, not to my nose...

Straight buttercream, not to my nose...I totally agree, there sure is a strong smell of "pink" in this cupcake.
Candlebuddy
That's interesting ... maybe I'm having a senior moment ... I'll have to check my notes.
Candlebuddy
Definately, a senior moment ... checked my notes and The Candle Source's Frosted Cup Cake is a twin of Old Mill's Pink Cup Cake (now at Tony's). I must of be thinking of Frosted Cup Cake from AH ... I've never tested it, but I did note that it was "sweet/sugary" oob (and that doesn't really amount to a hill of beans). I think I'll step away from my computer and go to bed now ... :tiptoe:
ChrisR
Wick Your Wax's (sold at BC) Buttercream is a strong, sweet FO!!
MeltAMemory
My two faves are candlescience Vanilla frosting or JS Buttercream frosting (new formulation). Both are great without the buttery/sour note that so many buttercreams have.
