heirloomoriginals Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 I mix about 1.5 oz base with distilled water (probably 6 oz because it will over flow when you put the top on it). I have read that some people add a bit extra preservative (.5%) because you are adding water to a base. I haven't added anything extra because I just use it here at home so far. Ruina Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 I've been experimenting and since it's for my own use, well, no harm done. I've successly used liquid hand soap, as well as cheapo dollar store hand soap. Also shower gel and even tried a shampoo cause I really love the scent of it. It just needs to be diluted properly.
