Dolphin146 Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 I had bought some reed diffuser reeds that had a cute christmas decorations on the top of them. Like a christmas tree,snowflake and candy canes. I wanted to make some for fall and was thinking.of maybe gluing a small styrofoam pumpkin on the top of my reed. What I want to know is would it work or will it mess up the scent throw on my reeds. Any help will be very welcomed. Louie Posted July 10, 2008 Share Posted July 10, 2008 I have decorated them with those foam shapes you get at Michaels. I then glued a straight pen to the shapes which I decorate with craft paint and stick them in the end of the reed. You can then pull them out and flip them. We have also strung beads on wire then wrapped them, and ordered erasers from Oriental Traders for like $4.00 a gross and just stuck them on the ends.Take a reed and go to the craft store and get ideas.It helps if you have dreams at night and you wake up with lots of ideas.
