I have used Longwyck's Lemon Meringue Pie at AH for several years and have never found another one that comes close for realistic, strong FO. :cool2:

Hi Chris,

I have used this one for a while in my wickless candles and melts and finally got around to testing it in my soy. I used it at 8% and did get some fuel. I think my nose picks up this smell more than some do. Obviously, you must not get fuel with it in your application. Do you use it in soy? I am going to try it at 6% to see if that will help the fuel and hopefully the scent throw will be as good. TIA

~Holly

Holly I don't use straight soy anymore, but used to for a few years before I switched to a 50/50 blend. I never got a fuel smell to my nose and never had a customer complain about it either. I did use between 6 - 8% (don't remember now) for a great throw and LX wicks. :cool2:

Thanks Chris. :) I am going to reduce the amount oil and see if my nose still picks up on it and if it does, I am going to have a friend test it to see if she detects it.

I agree with Chris; Longwyck's LMP is excellent. You really do smell the pastry w/ the lemon. To me, it smells the best cold, which makes it easy to sell!
