TxGirl
I'm so excited I can hardly wait! I've purchased (and/or ordered) the following. 10 lbs. of SFIC White M&P BaseSoap CutterPure HoneyOatmealShea ButterCocoa ButterPowdered Goats MilkVitamin E OilA 100% natural biodegradable liquid dish soap that is dye free and purfume free for extra lather if needed. Aloe Vera Gel (already had that)Coconut Oil (already had that)I've already got tons of fragrance oils and most are skin safe. The only thing I don't have yet are the soap dyes. I take that back I do have 1 pink liquid lotion/soap dye. Also a mold. I haven't decided what i will use. I might have the hubby build me a small wooden mold that I can make small batches with for now. Wish me luck! I am so excited!! I can't wait to start playing!! lindanelson
Congratulations on getting started to make soap.Yes you will need rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle. I use food coloring for my soaps. Works until I can get some dyes bought.Good luck, sounds like you have done your research.
elfcat
Wow sounds like you're off to a great start! As you do it you'll start wanting to try more and more ideas and recipes. The next thing you know, you'll be clearing out more cabinets just for your soap supplies!I recommend a notebook or journal so that you can record everything.Micas are really fun, and beeswax. (but you have plenty of ingredients to start with.) Don't forget herbs that you may already have in your spice cabinet! Have fun!
