Jojo... nope. I cut them out while the wax is still warm enough t be pliable, but cool enough to handle. The mold needs to be warmed slightly too. The timing is tricky with pillar wax and it's a short work window. As soon as they're all cut out I stick them inside the mold to cool. Often they'll fall back off the mold once cool, but that's okay since they're already shaped I can warm it back up and stick 'em back on when I'm ready to pour. Works best with rustic finishes. I usually get tiny cracks on the outside of the embeds from bending so it blends with the rustic look....lol. Also if the wax is too hot it'll melt the embeds back loose.
