Bernadette
I was searching eBay for something last night, and floating star gel candles came up in it that the seller said were made by Penreco, not with Penreco gel. Are they making candles now? It was professional packaging they were in, like you get in the store bought kind(plastic formed in the shape of the star). If they are, it might explain alittle why the price of gel is so high. I'll look again and see if I can find the link so you can look

CathyinME
It says right on their site that they do not make gel candleshttp://www.penreco.com/faq.aspI think it looks like that because of they way they worded it??!!
Bernadette
Well, you know...I wondered about that too, because I talk to them at least a couple of times a year, and they've never said that they make candles, but it could be something new. Might rate a call real soon!I wish the pic in the eBay listing was a bit closer and you might be able to see who made them.
southern.scents
It is probably someone who has a lack of knowlege in the candle making world and made the mistake of thinking penreco was the manufacturer, not the type of gel used.
