When I load piccies on my site, some work, others don't, but the ones that do, are distorted and when you click enlarge on them, its massive. YOu get a quarter of the screen with no facility for scrolling.

I'm going to attempt to resize them with adobe imageready, but not sure what size they should be. Does anyone know? should it be measured in pixels or size too.

help pretty please xx

1000 pixel is probably the largest you want to go. Most of mine are around 500. But if you use a large picture, when it shrinks it for the thumbnail, the quality isn't going to be very good. There's a "Save for Web" feature in my program that I use for my photos. I don't know exactly what it does, but it's made a huge difference in how the picture looks ON the website. It's in there, as well, that I adjust the photo sizes.

I have a program called IrfanView that I resize my pictures for my website with. It was recommended that I go no larger than 300 (300 what, I don't know!). I think you can go on the IrfanView website and download a free program on your computer and resize your photos.
