Can anyone tell me the difference between jar cap "liners"?

I tried emailing the company, but have gotten no response in over a week. For their double walled jars they offer domed lids with either:

"F217 lid liners" or a "HIS lid liner". Does it really make any difference? Since 4 ounce is a substantial size, I'd like to make sure I'm ordering the right stuff. Thanks so much

When lids are sold with liners they are generally attached inside the top of the lid, the ones you put on top of the jar and then screw on the lid are usually called sealing disks...I'm not sure of the difference in the two types of liners though. It may make a difference depending what you are putting in the jar. Maybe you could call the company and ask...I'm always too impatient to wait for an email reply!

Yes, these are the kind that are already attached to the inside of the top of the lid. You are right: I better call them! I'm just so addicted to email that I never pick up my phone anymore. :D

Sealing disks is what I meant--thank you. I always use sealing disks esp. when I make something for sale--it cost a few cents more but it looks professional--dept. store high end cosmetics which usually have them. It prevents cream from sticking to the cap and/or prevents a thin substance from seaping through/spilling.

I always use the sealing discs. I have been absolutely amazed as I have been out and about at the products that have NO type of sealing whatsoever. They aren't shrink wrapped. They don't have a sealer disc. NOTHING, open the jar and the body butter is at your disposal for the taking. I am just floored at how unsanitary that it makes the product.

Until I started making BB products, I never even noticed little things like this.
