Dana Mae
Hi everyone Thanks for such a wonderful forum. I am learning a lot. Before I start gathering supplies, I wondered what is recommended.Should I buy a starter kit, or gather supplies separately? I've read some that say kits, but not from craft stores.... then others say craft stores are ok to start.I'm interested in making good quality container and pillars to start.Thank you in advance for any advice you can share.Dana
Vicky_CO
Welcome Kit is a good way to start one from some place like Peak Candle Supplies or Bitter Creek both are reputable suppliers.
lindanelson
Welcome to Candle Tech and candle making.I started with a kit that made three candles. It had everything I needed including the jars.I was hooked after the frist candle came out really good. Before you put a lot of money into supplies, I would suggest getting a kit. Get one for containers and pillars. Then make the decision what to buy from there.
