bugtussle
I'll post a few pics of Shop One. It's been a busy place for the last few weeks. We pour tins & tureens on 30" lazy susans my DH (also pictured) built for us. Our turkey fryers have been busy. Carole

Scent Cellar
Lazy susans sound like a great idea for pouring. Can I raid your f/o stash? That is a lot of fragrance oil.

kalamazoo
Those look great. Great Christmas colour - what scent are they? As for the fragrance supply - that amount of scents is something I dream of having one day.

Stella1952
How nicely organized y'all are, Carole! I am awed at how accurately all the tins are wicked with no centering devices, etc. That's Shop 1? When do we see pics from Shop 2? I can almost smell all those tins cooling... sharyl55
Carole, don't know how I missed this. Your set up is awesome. Love the lazy susans your DH made. I am also amazed at how centered the wicks are with no centering device. Those are some great looking tins.
crafty0317
Wow... That looks great. Even though this is an older post, I can really smell your spiced cranberry. I have a spiced cranberry tart melting in a warmer here at work right now.
Rae
I'm impressed, Carole. How long does it take that turkey fryer to melt the wax? About how many pounds of wax does it hold? I'll PM you later on the 6006 testing.Rae
bugtussle
It takes about 15-20 minutes to get 35#s of wax ready to go. Can't wait to hear on 6006 tests. Carole
chrisasst
May I ask what wax and wick you use? I have tried gb444, 6006, 4794 and many wicks with each and I can not find the right wick..thanks
DJCTLS
Wow! They look great. That's a lot of candles.
artcwolf
dat's a lot of candles. How many shops do you have?
bugtussle
Thanks! We have one shop for pouring and another for storing, packing, & retail customers (open one Sat a month.) We use CDs almost exclusively for tins and 2 zincs in the tureens. Our wax is either 6006 or 223/soy. Some Vanilla/Heavy scents in tins have to be poured in 6006 because of rusting (reactions) to tins. Carole
theoldehearth
Hi Carole, you mind if I ask how safe and effective are those turkey fryers? Do you just dispense from the bottom? Are they cheaper than buying wax melters? Thanks!
