snow
I never made these but I want to try. I followed the directions from BC (I think thats where they are posted, right?) Oh well, I did a jar with ocean mist, one with pine and one with gingerbread. They have been in the jar since Mon. & the last two since Tue. and still are not done. I used 1tbs. of fo, 1 or 2 drops of color and 1/4 cp of beads. Do I need to add more beads or what? Its like they wont absorb all the liquid. I keep shaking them...but I'm beginning to think something is wrong. Help please! TIA
lindanelson
Are you shaking them up every once in a while? If so, then I would add a few more beads. Some scents take a lot longer than others. I've never done the beads, but have used corn cob. Its the same procedure with both.
Burnt Mill
I started making these not too long ago and I have found setting them some place warm has helped me out a lot.Every scent I have done has been done in 1 day or lessmaybe you can try setting them in a window. I am in an apartment and don't have a window that gets sun so I ended up setting them on top of my reptile cages as the cages have a heat panel inside them and it keeps the wood part on the top warmI don't know if it is the constant warm thing that has helped but I haven't ran into a scent yet that wasn't ready next dayI did the gingerbread (first one I tried) and it was ready next day
