Which soy to add???

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone!

I'm going to add soy candles with NO color to my line. I live in NYS so shipping is cheaper if I get wax from C&S or Candlewic. I do love KY candle supply for fo's and such and I do use her Perfect Blend now. My question is, what is the easiest soy to work with?? What are the best wicks? I have CD's, LX's, and zinc's, but I don't want to use zinc's. Are HTP's amd Cotton's good with soy?

Or should I test yet another wick? :shocked2: I'm just looking for a great container soy wax, as far as my votives and pillars go, I can't stop the mottled, rustic paraffin addiction that I have had for 6 yrs. Maybe someday. LOL. Thanks for any suggestions! :)

Oceangazer, if you will search back in the threads, you will find this same question has been asked several times. Nearly everyone likes their brand the best and thinks it is the easiest with which to work. If you go with one of the more popular brands (NatureWax, Eco-Soya, Golden Brands) you should have a reasonably well-made product (which will have its own set of quirks) with which to begin your adventures into the land of soy. Good luck and have fun! HTH :)
