CareBear
I have 5# of something labeled MC415 (Mill Creek). Now Mill Creek doesn't carry an MC415 but they do have MC125 which is equivalent to GW415. Do you think that's what I have?It feels quite hard and crumbly, not like the other softer container waxes I've seen. But I admit to a vast emptiness when it comes to knowledge of wax and candles... Scent Cellar
I would bet it was pure soy.

CareBear
oh now how confusing. so do I really have the millcreek 125 do you think? Is it a hard flake wax?
carol k
as i said mc125 is golden brands 415. the very same soy wax. all or most all the suppliers rename it to make it their own.
CareBear
got that, thanks just trying to figure it all out in my head - since it's not labeled (granted its just in a baggie) mc125, but instead mc415 I'm not completely sure. But since there IS NO mc415 (but instead golden brands 415, sold my MC as mc125) that's probably it.I'm also confused by how hard the flakes are since the other container waxes are softer. Or perhaps it's the wine. Last night I drank cause to keep myself from killing my ex, tonight I'm drinking cause last night it tasted so good! Scent Cellar
Carol, I hope you try using the 415 wax and let us know your results. I am positive you will like the cold/hot throw better than the C-3 you have been working with.
