My question is because if this is so, one cannot follow the color chart. The color charts shows blends, i.e, muted red, violet red, purple velve, marmalade, etc. I see that the set of Individual colors are Violet red, Purple REd, Muted Red, False blue, etc. Was thinking of purchasing these, but I need to know this first. Camay Posted October 21, 2007 Share Posted October 21, 2007 The basic colors are not red, blue, etc. The basic eight have funky names like muted red, purple velvet, marmalade, etc. The colors that are listed in the blend charts are the actual names of the basic eight.
