I am pretty new I have tried a soy wax for tarts that came with a kit and they were awlful. then i found out it was the wrong wax.
Late Night
I get most of my supplies here because they are local enough for me to go pick stuff up. They recomend the last one on the page. Find a company nearest to you because of shipping costs. babygirl050804
I was going to use candlescience it is about hour to an hour 20 minutes away so i was going to do a pick up. I would rather use soy or atleast mostly soy.
TxGirl
I like the Ecosoya Pillar Blend (PB) for votives and tarts. It has a good scent throw both cold and hot. It sets up nicely, although there is a touch of frost on some colors. PS. I have not used the clamshells though.

debscent
Candle Science is a great company, good decision. Find a votive wax for your tarts, it will make the tarts pop out of the clamshell. Some people add a bit of containe wax to their votive wax also. I use a 50/50 blend for votives for my tarts and don't add any container wax to it, and love how they turn out, no overpour necessary and they last a long time. Guest Candelishis
I actually use my GW464 for my containers AND my clamshells and it works awesome for both.
