Jcandleattic
I'm sure you'll get lots of opinions, but what it boils down to is personal preference. The way to tell what will work for you and what you like best is to get sample packs or small amounts (like the 10-11 lb slabs) and just start testing. Me personally - I like 4625 with the additives I use. This is the best choice for me because my wax supplier is local so I don't incur any shipping charges and I've created a formula for me that works best for my applications. That doesn't necessarily mean that the formula I use will indeed work for you. I hope I'm making sense and not rambling... Sorry!Good luck in your pillar making ventures! sweetscents
I'm looking to have a finished product similar to the "look" of thesehttp://www.paddywax.com/public/cat2205.aspxI've never made pillar candles, so this is somewhat of a new venture, I've been searching and searching to find recommendations on a type of wax to use. Meredith_D
That looks like a mottling wax. Try IGI 1274.
