Water Softener Salt / Solar Salt?

I searched the archives, but didn't quite get a few of these clearly answered...

I'm trying to figure out what ratio I use to make these? Is it 1oz of FO per lb of salt??

And if you use a body safe oil, it can be used for bath salts or air freshener right?

It just takes the salt, fo and fd&c color right?

Or fd&c color the one that fades?

Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks! :)

What "these" are you asking about?

Yes, in theory. You'll need to test each oil to make sure they are appropriate for the product.

For bath salts? That's one recipe. I think that's all there is to the air fresheners though, maybe a binder too to help the scent stick around...

FD&Cs are UV sensitive, so they will fade in time. You'll need to test to find out how fast. I think UMs and Micas are common colorants for non-fading air freshener salts.
