Candybee
You are using about twice as much fragrance as I would use for 8 oz. It could be the fragrance oil. Some oils are much weaker than others. Best to test different oils.
andyjack
I haven't made tarts in a while but I only used about 1 oz. of fo per pound of wax. I think that if you use too much they can seep oil. And using that much fo means that you're wasting it and your money.
Candlebuddy
For tarts, I use 1.5 oz of fo per pound of wax. You should check to see the highest percentage of fo your wax can hold. If you exceed that amount, your oil will start to seep out of your wax.
SoyCandleQueen
I have some creme brulee tarts going and I notice a dark brown spot in the bottom of it. I only used 1 oz to a pound so I'm not sure if that brown spot is the FO?Dawn
