Rebecca
I looked up peppermint in my Aromatherapy book by Valerie Ann Worwood and it says that pepperment EO has the following properties:helps with digestion, respiratory system (it contains menthol crystals that why it tingles), helps with circulation, is antiseptic and is an anti-inflammatory.I did fine a caution is another book by E. Joy Bowles that says to be sure not to use this undiluted on the skin cause it can be irritating to the mucous membranes. Also not to use in too strong a concentration. Actually the books that I have that mention peppermint EO all say to use sparingly cause it's at leat 1/3 menthol. HTH
