motherofmutts
I just got a gel candle kit for my birthday from my SIL. I want to use this kit after I have practiced on other candles as I know I will mess the first few up. Do you guys/gals usually buy your supplies locally, or online?thanks in advance :highfive:
suzanneg
Actually both when I first started out 6+ years ago, then I went strictly online cause I soon learned (the hard way) that the stuff at the local craft stores were junk!
kandlekrazy
Both. If you have a supplier locally, that is the cheapest way. If not find one in the suppliers by state that is close to you. Shipping is one of the biggest factors! You can also check in the classified section on this forum for items.
Late Night
On line is usually cheaper and better quality. Choose a place that is close to you though because of shipping costs. The first time I ordered I didn't check where it was being sent from. Turns out it was sent from about 6 miles from my house and I could have picked it up myself and saved a bunch on shipping. *faint*
Candlebuddy
I usually buy mine on line, but I try to find suppliers that are close to where I live ... shipping can be really expensive. What state do you live in?
