Dolphin146
I was making lip balms tonight and I noticed that the base I heated up from Bramble and Berry seems really greasy. Has anyone ever had this problem with there base. Or is it suppose to be. I am now tring a base from the Chemstery Store to see how they compare. I realy could use some help with this Thanks All Regina
azure68
Maybe try and add a little beeswax to it to cut down on the greasiness? I use BCN's base and love it.
buck
I'm looking for a good lip balm base. Is it hard to make? Thanks for your help!
Luci
I have not tried the Bramble Berry Base, but I did get the soy base from Chemistry Store. Personally, I could not use the CS base. It was horrible. I tried to "doctor" it with a few additives, but I ended up throwing it away. I found a recipe here that seems promising, but until I have adequate testing time I'm sticking with the bases from Soaper's Workshop. If you're looking for a base, you can't go wrong with any of the SW bases. They are all wonderful.
