rrd 34 wick with ecosoya pb

any one else use RRD 34 wicks with ecosoya PB wax? I use them and so far have had good success..but of course 2 of my main suppliers don't carry them. Is there a wick equal to the rrd 34?

I use the LX wicks. They just work better for me. Not sure what size your pillars are but mine are 3x6" and I start testing with a size 22.

oops--I should have stated I am making votives... I have used Lx 14 in Paraffin wax which works great, but I can't get that to work in soy...I have not tried anything above 14 though...will have to test that next...

I am in the process of testing votivies with the ecosoya pb and am really having a hard time. I either don't get a full melt pool or it burn to fast and the votive glass holder gets to hot.

The LX 14 I have tried 3x and each time I have hang up on one side. The LX16 were just to big. CD5 or CD6 does so so. RRD and HTP I have tested also but don't have my notes in front of me.

Sorry not much help here but I do want to watch this thread;)

I have tried CD5 and it does not burn hot enough, pretty much drown out..Let me know if you find your notes on your RRD 34. I have tested my HTP 83 yet, will have to do that also.
