silverm00n Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Do any of you make these? Just solid plain colored pillars. Everywhere I look now it's either a mottle or a rustic. Just wondering if regular pillars still sell well? ~TY Quote
manda Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Hi, I make mainly solid coloured pillars, they are what i personally prefer. I have not sold alot of candles but find that anyone that i have made for this is what they request most of the time. I will be honest and admit that i have not mastered or got even close to mastering rustic and mottles, so if i cant make them i cant show them to people:cry2: I find that people seem to be really happy with there solid coloured pillar, but thats in the UK.Mandy Quote
Stella1952 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Yes, we make solid color pillars, but we use palm wax, which supplies its own design. We also occasionally make soy pillars, but the dead opaque solid colors don't do much for our tastes. Quote
ChrisR Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 In my area, that is all that sells.. Mottles, palm, 100% soy.....none of these sold well at all. Solid color, soy/paraffin blend pillars that they can hug are what my customers like the best!! Quote
