Wick'n'Wax Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Hi,Has anyone ever used transparency paper for a piccie. To use on a cane, orb or forever pillar?thanks Quote
TwinMom Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 I never used it for a picture, but I did print sayings on them for a candle for my girlfriend (it was a candle of her daughter who passed away). It came out really good, that paper holds ink really well. Just make sure it drys completely before using it. Quote
Wick'n'Wax Posted July 1, 2007 Author Posted July 1, 2007 thanks Jenn,I'm thinking it may be ok for a forever pillar for overdipping, but not sure about in canes. Not sure it would adhere to sides with the ice cube/cold cloth method Quote
Donita Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 We went round and round with this well over a year ago. I don't think anyone every found a way to ember that kind of paper. Not that I remember. So I gave up. But of course it can be glued to the outside of a candle and then overdipped. Donita Quote
Wick'n'Wax Posted July 1, 2007 Author Posted July 1, 2007 thanks Donita.I have a forever pillar to do 'something' with, will try that, once I can decide on a piccie to use lol Quote
TwinMom Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I never over dipped my candle, I made 3 canes with it actually and it stuck pretty good. Quote
