You can rebatch different scents together with no problem since most of the scents will cook off. I do this all the time - I save all my soap scraps from all batches and then rebatch them into bars I sell with the proceeds going to a fund at our local animal shelter that pays for the medical bills for all animals brought in or found that are sick and injured. These bars never really have much of a scent left.

Do not use food coloring for your soap. Invest in some CP soap safe dyes. Select Shades has a great kit and they last forever. Some around here also use the Peacock dyes. Then there are micas (some don't work in cp), ultramarines and natural ingredients (tumeric, cocoa etc.) that you can use for color. There are other colorants out there as well.

It is not that you can't use food color. Some people do use it but I don't. The idea just does not sit well with me. But I have to admit I've never used it. I just prefer either natural colorants or ones tested safe for CP.

I don't recolor my rebatched soaps. I make sure to leave some chunks in it so I can have some bits of color in the soaps since it will turn a brownish soap. But this is for the soaps I rebatch my scraps with.
