Judy, USMC
Two places that have a relatively good variety at reasonable prices - WallyWorld and HobbyLobby. HTH

number2of7
One word: EBAY There are numerous sellers who sell lots of scraps that could be used for that purpose.
Maggie
Check out your fabric stores too. You should be able to find "end pieces" that are too small to sell yardage wise...so they roll them up and slap a price sticker on them. Our local Joann Fabric has baskets of them sitting on the floor. Maggie
Carriegsxr6
Joann Fabric and Walmart get my vote.
Late Night
Yep, wal-Mart or JoAnn Fabrics. If you want small pieces with a lot of variety you might try JoAnns. You can get 'fat quarters' 18X22 for a couple of bucks. They are a little more expensive but you can get a larger variety. Also at fabric stores, and probably Wal-Mart, you can buy 1/8 or 1/4 of a yard of material. Don't be afraid to ask them. They are used to quilters buying small hunks.
