Jami
I got in 100 clamshells that I ordered from Millcreek so this afternoon, I mixed up a bit of my 416 wax and proceeded to make some tarts.I mix, stir and pour at a cloudy/slushy stage. Then something weird happened. I checked on them and every clamshell had a crater/sink hole in the center of the squares. I have never had this happen before.Any suggestions as to why? :undecided I only made 35 of the things tonite and they all sunk *sigh*
Kelly
Hmmm... good question. I would have though that it would have to do with the plastic being to warm, but if you poured that cool, I don't think that could be the problem.I don't know about 416 wax though is this a softer wax (container/100% soy) or harder (pillar/votive blend)?
