flightoffancy
After seeing all of the beautiful palm pillars people have posted I decided to give it a try. Here are the first 2 forever palm pillars I've made. These have the glass tea light cup embedded. My next attempt will be to try them with votives. Thanks for looking! Leesters
Those are amazing. As a wax virgin, this is quite intimidating. I'm so glad to see you put tealights in there so you'll never have to actually burn these. lolFrom what I'm reading and seeing, the "palm" effect is just awesome. Those are going to be a must try for me when I get to start melting and stop dreaming. Is there some kind of chemical you put in the wax to make it do that? Forgive the virgin newbie question. Kay
Are those waterslide decals or embedded pics? I'm going to try some waterslide decals tomorrow....wish me luck
starlessjade
Is there some kind of chemical you put in the wax to make it do that? Forgive the virgin newbie question. Palm wax crystallizes on its own... in fact there are different kinds, depending on how they crystallize- starburst, feather... Candlescience has a tortoiseshell pattern palm wax and I have some of that coming later today! I'm so excited.
