pacificflames
I was wondering if there is a right and wrong way to cooling the candles. Once the wax is pretty much hardened so I can move the candle but the jar is still warm can I put the lid on already or should I wait til it's completely cold. Does it make any difference? Just wondering, probably a retty stupid question?!
topofmurrayhill
I assume your wick is secured at the top to keep it straight, so you probably can't put the lid on over that. You need to keep the wick taught until the wax is cool and stops shrinking.
kari357
I usually make mine at night and apply lid next morning.
Wick'n'Wax
I've made some 4oz tins with cb135. I've left them 24hours, trimmed the wick, then put the lid on.I'm also leaving them about 5-7 days to cure, besides my darn cold may have gone by them, so I've at least a chance of smelling them lol
