shine
I'd like to add an unique touch to my natural colored container candles by adding cosmetic grade glitter to the tops. Does anyone do this? If so how much do you use? Does it affect your burn? Can it clogged your wick? Any input is greatly appreciated .Shine
Stella1952
I would expect it to clog the wick as the glitter melts.
Candle Man
I use a polyester ultra fine glitter all the time. All it does is float on the melted wax pool. Never had a problem with flair-ups or clogging the wick.
Groovy Chic
I've used glitter lots of times with no problems at all. It doesn't take much glitter to give the candle a beautiful finish. The ultra fine glitter will give the candle a real sparkle. Always use cosmetic grade and you'll be ok.
