Mnhorsemom
Do you have to have the INCI names on lip balm labels? I put my balm in little round tins and the INCI names won't all fit on the round label. Thanks
kidsngarden
I don't think you have to for US sales.Bethany
ladysj
I do believe you have to have the inci names on it because it's being applied to the skin. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
RobinInOR
You have to have the INCI names, but I'd say you could use the common name, older version. If you're selling to huge markets and are a million dollar company or sell to the EU I'd follow the latest scientific (common), but you'd need to buy fold out labels
blazerina
I've had to deal with this myself. But this is what I notice about how the big companies deal with it...Seems like as long as you have it SOMEWHERE. So if it won't fit on the actual product it's ok as long as it is somewhere on the packaging. So you could put them in an organza bag with a hang tag kind of thing. Please correct me if i'm wrong any one knows otherwise. It does add to your expense to have to add packaging, but think of the freedom of not having to go through the headache of working with itty bitty labels!
