someone gave me this idea

of puting bath salt in a 4oz mason jar then getting a wooden scoop and put it with a ribbon around the neck of the jar. sounds like it could be cute, would like some thoughts about it. thanks

I thought about doing this, but then thought about glass in the bathroom and wet, slippery hands...I guess if you just handle the jar before you get in the tub.

It would be nice if you could find an acrylic container as opposed to glass....I agree glass in the bathroom is an accident/disaster waiting to happen! IMO

They also make glass jars that have the wooden spoon already attached in a loop of glass. Can't remember which supplier it was - one of the glass ones.

I think that is a good idea. But like smart tart said acrylic would be better. Always someone who will break the glass. Life does not go without accidents. I have been in enough lately. Thought I could stop my car when it was rolling DA and also got in a hurry and fell on ice. The car did the worst damage. My right arm is being X rayed this week. Hurts bad so I know what it is for accidents. People get in a hurry. I can't count the times I have dropped my dish detergent or bubble bath containers. Cleaning and BAM it falls. If I didn't do it husband or son would.
