nursenancy
Has anyone ever used an electric turk fryer to melt wax? I've seen one by masterbuilt w/ a thermostat and a spigot.

schmoopie
K-Mart had some on clearance for $30 bucks..... got a few that way....may have to search quite a few though...lol. They are sometimes in the camping/sporting section and sometimes in with small appliances....you have to really search. Called a few and they said they didn't have any, but when I went and checked, I lucked out a found a couple they had missed....good luck!! stacien
I do Nancy, I love it. I especially do a lot of favor tins and it comes in handy to keep that wax ready. The spout just pours it out into the pouring pitures so I don't have to ladel it. It holds way more wax than the presto and its only the cost of three presto pots.
