The first one I use a 45ply wick, but after about an hour burning the wick puts off soot with the least little draft and it's burning through the center roughly 2" diameter. I thought though since the 45ply wasn't giving me a large enough MP that wicking down definitely wouldn't. I'll test it and see though.
